Description: Learn from the best! Join Gina to learn how too machine quilt using Gina's quilting rulers on a domestic sewing machine. Gina designed her machine quilting rulers for the novice to the expert to achieve perfect quilt pattern stitching. The Introduction Class will get you started, the afternoon class takes you to the Not So Basic Ruler Quilting for success.
Cost: $60 ($40 for ruler kit)

Award-winning quilter Gina Perkes makes quilting designs come to life with her grid-based designs. While the designs look elaborate and intricate, the application of grids makes the quilting simple!
She will demonstrate how to do free-motion quilting and quilting fills—all using grids that make the process so easy. Gina shows all of the techniques on a home sewing machine and then on a longarm machine.
Really, no matter how you quilt or what style of quilting you prefer, this approach to quilting design will open up a world of possibilities for you. She even has a special lesson on grid-based designs for sashings and borders and demonstrates how to use a longarm ruler on a home sewing machine.
Gina encourages you to play, experiment, and have fun.

Hear tips on how you can use different rulers on a domestic machine, including best practices for maintaining control and keeping track of your place on the quilt. She shows how just one ruler can create a wide variety of designs. Watch as Gina shows how to get the grid lines on your fabric to help keep your quilting accurate.
